It’s about you.
We get that. We know firsthand how that feels. That ambition. The drive to be a better, more confident you. To calmly succeed.
Here, it’s also about the Team. All of us. We believe that together we are stronger, more powerful. This Plunder Design Jewelry team encourages each other, shares ideas and frustrations, laughs and cries together. We build each other up and reach for our dreams. We readily offer assistance–even when there’s nothing in it for us–because we know that when one of the team succeeds, we all succeed. And rejoice.
That’s the power and comfort of a Team. Join us. We can’t wait to meet you. d
Who Are We?
The Buckeye Bling Team is a group of Plunder Jewelry stylists. The Team’s leader, Shannon Geyer, joined Plunder in the spring of 2016 and in just 2 years, her incredible team of stylists has grown to 400+ strong. Things to know:
- Plunder Design is a ground-floor company founded in 2014 by Hillary Adams, and information on Hillary’s inspiring journey can be found here. The Team understands that possibilities with this company are endless.
- The Plunder company offers the opportunity to start your own business, work from home and be a successful entrepreneur.
- Our Team members represent a mix of ages, backgrounds and personal situations. And we are proud of that.
- For some, being a plunder stylist is a full-time job, others part-time. Some just want extra spending money and a few are kitnappers (ladies who become stylists simply to get the fantastic starter kit and a discount of great jewelry!)
It doesn’t matter how much you sell (there are no monthly minimum sales requirements for Plunder Jewelry stylists!) or even whether you decide to sell or recruit at all. When you sign up to be a stylist or kitnapper under one of our team members, you become part of the Buckeye Bling Team. And you get all the perks, fun and support that comes with it.
Members Explain Their “Why”
Ability to earn extra income
My Plunder why? One of my biggest passions in life and the career path I have chosen is teaching. However, this passion doesn’t come with a big paycheck. Plunder allows me to make extra money doing something I love and helping other women find their style and feel beautiful. You also can’t beat the amazing sisterhood!
I found my passion
I am quickly seeing that you get out what you put in and I could not be more excited or happy about being a stylist for this company. ❤️ I’ve found my own passion for something, and it’s something that I’m good at. It’s my outlet and my “me time.” I think to myself, how lucky am I to have something so great to work towards.
That is my “why.”
Needed something fun and flexible
I’m a homeschool mom, so I needed something that was fun and flexible. Plunder is both – and I can share it with other homeschool moms too!
The team and sisterhood
My “why” is changing. What I can tell you for sure, though, is that this truly is a sisterhood and a friendship like no other, bound by the common love of jewelry but even more, the common love (and need) of friendships. These ladies truly care about each other and are willing to help each other. To each lady, it’s really about the other person, if that makes sense. No matter if you’re a top seller or barely a seller, it doesn’t matter. There truly is a place for everyone at Plunder!
“Selling” jewelry has taken the focus off of myself and helped me to think of others. This business really is about relationships, not about selling pretty jewelry (although that certainly is a bonus!).
For animal rescue causes
I have been a dog, horse and cat foster mom and rescue volunteer for the last 15 years, and know first hand how challenging fundraising can be. For years, I pulled funds from my household account to cover “volunteer” expenses. Now, my “side business” has taken all that pressure away.
I could never have imagined my “tiny little bling business” would grow into a powerful financial, personal and professional growth opportunity. I am so incredibly grateful each day that I decided to take the leap to join Plunder. I have the opportunity to wear and share gorgeous jewelry, make women feel beautiful and empowered, help my animal causes and, I get paid to do it! I ask myself daily, “Is this real life?”
To rebuild myself and provide opportunities for my children
My Plunder “why” is to spend some time rebuilding myself and who I want to be fully. It is also my family. I want to be able to provide opportunities to my kids as they are quickly growing up and are becoming young adults. As a family we have dreams and I want to be able to contribute to them !
My son, Zane
“My Why” will always be my son Zane…I started this new adventure with Plunder to save for his education!!!
I wanted to make a few extra dollars and wondered if I could sell jewelry. I’m sure you hear this a lot, “I don’t know a lot of people. How would this work?”. I felt the same way. I took a leap of faith and signed up. I was excited about my first order and couldn’t wait to place the next one. I think setting a goal is what motivates me to do more. I love Plunder!!
I did it for me
I love God. I love my family. I love people. But, I needed to love myself too. You see, I have Alopecia. An autoimmune disease where you lose your hair. Yes, hair, eyelashes included. All gone.
I went to a Plunder Jewelry party, and the jewelry I bought spoke to me. I saw an opportunity to bail myself out of my sinking shell. Pull myself outta my comfort zone. Grab my “old self” back before it was too late. I looked at the catalog , saw the inspiration behind it ALL, read about the CEO, researched a little, asked questions and then BOOM!! I’m a Plunder Stylist. YAY ME!!!
I’ll never look back at being afraid to put myself out there. I put myself out there all the time now. I sell. I post. I meet new people every day. I’ve made tons of new friendships that I never would have if I’d stayed in that shell. Anyone can do what I do , if they so choose. I choose to be happy and thankful and not ashamed.
To create personalized items for those who have lost loved ones
I joined Plunder after realizing how many of my fellow widow sisters I could help by putting a smile on their face by honoring and remembering their loved ones! I lost my husband in Afghanistan in 2013, he was a SSG in the US ARMY. Through Plunder’s personalized pieces, I have been able to create all different kinds of memory bracelets, necklaces and key chains! Having our loved ones with us everyday is a vital part of surviving each and every day!
